European Economic and Social Committee traineeship in Brussels, Belgium
These periods of in-service training offer an opportunity to learn about the EESC's roles and activities and to acquire professional experience in a multicultural environment. They begin on 16 February and 16 September of each year and take place in the Committee's offices in Brussels.
Twice a year the European Economic and Social Committee offers traineeships for a period of five months to university graduates (long-term traineeship).Application are due by 31 March 2020.
Important dates:
Spring traineeship (February-July)
- Opening date for online applications: 1 July
- Closing date for online applications: 30 September
Autumn traineeship (September-February)
- Opening date for online applications: 3 January
- Closing date for online applications: 31 March
Who can apply:
- This internship is intended for young graduates of universities.
- Applicants hold a recognized university- level degree, demonstrating completion of at least three years of study, or a certificate attesting that the applicant has attained a level of education corresponding to a three-year university course.
- Applicants submit an application in accordance with the procedures laid down by the EESC. Instructions are published on the EESC’s website.
- Applicants shall be required to have a good command of English or French.
